A study published on March 2nd, 2022 by the University of Colorado Boulder, found those seeking solace from the every day anxiety of the world did so by spending more time outdoors. In fact more than one-third of those interviewed spent more time outdoors than they did three years ago. Not only are more people venturing into nature more frequently; but studies show people have a strong desire for outdoor dining to remain a part of their lives. In the 2021 study, consumers stated they were still not spending as much time enjoying local dining establishments because of the lack of outdoor seating.
